Héctor Olivera's Artistic Approach

My artistic approach is based on plastic research and the deepening of techniques and materials. As a visual artist, I believe that constant exploration is essential for the development of my creativity and skills. In my painting practice, I have explored a variety of subjects and techniques, especially acrylic painting on different supports, which constitutes the bulk of my production.

Acrylic paint is one of my favorite mediums because of its versatility and durability. I like to experiment with different techniques, including the use of textures, layering and the use of unconventional tools, which allows me to create works that convey a variety of emotions and sensations.
In addition, the deepening of the technique of painting allows me to create more detailed and elaborate pieces, which enriches the visual experience of the viewer. Through constant research, I am motivated to explore new forms of expression, which is reflected in my work.
